I am a Registered Architect and Designer with fourteen years of experience working
both as a sole proprietor and a firm team-member on a large variety of projects
including new construction, historic preservation and large-scale site planning. I
have primarily worked as a Project Designer and a Project Architect but as well in
all other aspects of the building design and production process.
I am currently based in Prague, Czech Republic and offer design consultation and
3-dimensional rendering services.

Project Designer- Responsible for site planning and building design for medium-sized retail
and mixed-use planning projects in CA, UT, AZ. Coordination of design, presentation process.

Washington, DC 1994-1995 + 2001-2005
Sole Proprietor/ Owner- Responsible for every aspect of daily practice, including contracts code
review, and production. Project types- single family new construction, multi-family residential and
small commercial. Collaborative design and competition entries with other firms.

Shalom Baranes Associates
Washington, DC 1998-2001
Job Captain/ Associate Designer- Collaborated with head designer during design development
phase of large commercial projects, to study and develop discrete pieces of overall design, materials
and construction details. Responsible for overall design and construction documents of major public
interior architecture in three large commercial projects.

Washington, DC 1996-1998
Associate and Associate Project Designer- Worked directly with head designer during schematics
and design development to develop concepts for educational and institutional new construction projects.
Lead designer for interior architecture and custom furniture for classroom and conference center at a
university. Assistant to head designer for presentations.

Project Designer- Designed overall site plan and architectural expression for ten-year master planned
expansion of a large high school and worked integrally with project team architect and production team
to develop on-time and on-budget construction documentation.
